I also made little character cards based on UNO mascots from UNO Moo, UNO Tiki Twist, UNO Choo Choo, UNO Colors Rule, UNO Roboto, and UNO Royal Revenge (versions not worth including, but with fun characters).Īnyway, at the end of my collecting, I made custom card backs and added all the cards to one giant deck of TRES. I even found the UNO collectible glasses set from the 80’s to drink with for the latter game. Then I took it a step further, and added original cards I designed based off of fan made variants, such as Hot Death UNO, UNO Supreme, and Drunk UNO. I added original cards and mechanics that echoed versions of UNO I couldn’t include, like the DS game UNO 52, UNO Slam, the UNO mobile app, and UNO’s limited edition “Game Changers” cards released with Cobs popcorn bags. I added game mechanics from UNO off-shoots Phase 10, Skip-Bo, Boom-O, and O’NO 99. I collected every deck with a gimmick or new mechanic, but no licensed decks like Harry Potter or Shrek UNO. I thought I could make TRES into the ultimate game of UNO, by adding every uno variant created since the ‘70’s. I have the instructions saved, I can post them if people want.īut that’s not the end of the story. It incorporated 7-0 rules, stacking rules, and jumping in rules (the most classic house rules), and some fun extra rules for certain cards (playing a 1 makes you draw 2 cards as a penalty, Wild 2’s create new piles but 2’s destroy them, and a few more). It allowed card number adding like in DOS, and you could create and destroy new piles so you could potentially have up to 4 piles to play on. I made up a set of rules that combined their game mechanics, and played with my friends. One year ago, I began developing “TRES”, a game where you played with UNO and DOS decks shuffled together. So I just commented basically the same thing on this thread: īut I figured I should post here as well.
